The City of New York and NYCHA have been working since October, 2016 to provide free, high-speed internet service to residents of the Queensbridge Houses, as part of a new partnership with Lumen Technology. We are now pleased to announce that the free, Queensbridge Connected internet service is being extended through April 2023.
Did you know the Queensbridge Connected Wi-Fi service is powered by devices called Access Points? Access Points or AP’s are located within our community and allow residents to gain access to the internet. Access Point devices (AP’s) also supply internet to our Public Library and Jacob Riis Community Center.Access Points (AP’s) are located inside of some resident’s apartments. If you have an Access Point (AP) in your home, please do not unplug the device. If an Access Point (AP) becomes unplugged or disconnected it may lead to a disruption of internet service.
Queensbridge Connected is part of the NYC Connected initiative whose mission is to create online access for all New Yorkers by 2025.
Our Help Desk personnel are ready to assist you to log into the Queensbridge Connect Wi-Fi service by calling 1-888-386 9242.
If you are experiencing issues with the connection, or need to register a device, please contact our Help desk team at 1-888-386 9242 or email email@example.com.
Help desk is available twenty-four (24) hours a day and seven (7) days per week.
