We enforce Executive Order 50, which requires City contractors to follow federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations. Before the award of a City contract or benefit under the Industrial Commercial Incentive Program (ICIP) or the Industrial Commercial Abatement Program (ICAP) benefit, a contractor must submit an Employment Report. This contains information on their employment policies, practices, and workforce composition. Through this report, we will determine if the contractor maintains nondiscriminatory hiring and employment practices.
