New York City offers a variety of services to help small business owners start, operate, or expand your business and navigate the City's rules and regulations:

Visit nyc.gov/business, a central location where you can find all City resources available for businesses, including learning what's required to start a business (like the licenses and permits you need), checking the status of your inspection or application, and paying for certain transactions online.

NYC Business Acceleration provides new and existing businesses with a client manager to serve as the business owner's point person, provide violations support, and provide information and assistance on recovering from a disaster or emergency. Call (212) 618-8810 to speak to a client manager.

NYC Business Solutions provides a range of free services for businesses including help obtaining financing or accessing financial incentives, assistance with staff recruitment or training, and classes on a variety of topics.
