WAV Decal

The decal for the interior rear wall will be distributed in 2023 to TLC-licensed Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) owners. The decal reminds drivers to always offer all six securements to passengers.

Securement Videos

The Taxi and Limousine Commission just released a series of videos highlighting how to pick up and drop off passengers with disabilities. These step-by-step videos show everything from how to secure a passenger in a wheelchair accessible vehicle, to the appropriate way to assist a passenger with a disability. It’s a great tool to remind yourself of all the steps that you should take and to get suggestions on how to provide excellent customer service.
