SHL Plate Notification:

If you have submitted your vehicle application to the TLC, the vehicle is affiliated to a Street Hail Livery (SHL) Permit, and you are ready to Hack Up your vehicle, you do not need to schedule a full NYS DMV inspection appointment. Go to your base to notify the TLC that you have received your license plates. You will receive a Hack Up letter in the mail.  Bring your vehicle with the Hack Up letter to our Inspection Facility at Woodside and the inspection will be completed there.

Vehicle Owner Plate Notification:

Owners of vehicles not affiliated to SHL permits must notify TLC you have received your license plates by using the Vehicle Plate Notification Form.

Base Owners

Base Affirmation:

The Base owner will need to submit an Online Base Affirmation before the Vehicle Owner can make the Payment online and submit any documents. Use TLC UP to submit a Base Affirmation.

SHL Base Endorsement:

To submit your application and supporting documents for a Street Hail Livery Base Endorsement use the NYC TLC Online Appointment System to schedule an appointment. For more information visit FHV Bases.
