Ines Adan serves as the Director of Constituent Services at DVS. She is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting initiatives consistent with the agency's mission to enhance the re-integration process of NYC veterans of all war and peace-time eras and their families. Ines additionally coordinates employment and housing outreach initiatives by connecting employers and realtors with veterans actively seeking like services. During her time at DVS, Ines has established and managed NYC's unclaimed, indigent veteran funeral protocol. Ines collaborated with community stakeholders to coordinate the final honors of veterans eligible for National Cemetery internment.
Before joining Team DVS, Ines worked as the Executive Assistant for the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS), Division of Family Services Transitional Program. There, she managed the day-to-day operations of the Executive Deputy Commissioner's Office that was responsible for over 800 employees. Ines also participated in contract negotiations, developed curriculum training, and conducted safety and regulatory compliance responsibilities. Ines graduated from the City College of New York with a BA in Health Administration.
