Karen Chan, Compliance

Karen is currently serving as the Compliance Officer at DVS. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing payroll & timekeeping functions, in addition to ensuring the agency meets both internal and citywide standards of compliance.


Before joining Team DVS, Karen served as a Payroll & Timekeeping Analyst at the Department of Citywide Administrative Services where she was responsible for overseeing managerial lump sum payments, payroll reporting, bi-weekly payroll summaries, and other workforce projects.


Karen is a seasoned city government employee. Her career in public service began at the Fire Department of New York where she spent close to a decade in the HR department before moving on to DCAS.
