Effective November 18, 2017, the New York City Human Rights Law, Title 8 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York, will provide new protections for members of the uniformed services against discrimination in employment, housing, and places of public accommodation.
If you are a veteran and believe you have been subject of discrimination because of your military service, please contact the New York City Commission on Human Rights
to learn what your options are under the law.
