Colleen Galvin

Colleen Galvin is the Director of Financial Inclusion for Mastercard’s North American small business team, where she leads programs that promote capital access and digital enablement, with a particular focus on under-represented business owners and diverse communities. Prior to Mastercard, Colleen worked for eight years as an Senior Vice President with Citi’s Community Investing & Development division. Colleen joined Citi after ten years with the NYC Dept. of Small Business Services, where she was an Assistant Commissioner and held a variety of leadership positions. Colleen joined local government after working on lower Manhattan small business recovery for two years following the events of September 11th, 2001. Earlier in her career, Colleen worked for the public policy research firm MDRC, Citibank's U.S. credit card division, J.P. Morgan Chase's retail product development team, and two telecom startups. Colleen earned an M.B.A. in Finance/Marketing from NYU-Stern and a BS in Mathematics/Computer Science from Seton Hall University.  She serves on the boards of Ascendus, the NYC Workforce Development Board, and Impact Capital Forum. She is also a limited partner in the Next Wave Impact Fund, a Portfolia investor, and a member of the Angel Capital Association.
