How do I apply for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK)?

UPK programs are available at some public schools and many Community Based Early Childhood Centers (CBECCs). To go to UPK for the 2014-2015 school year, children must turn 4 in 2014 and live in New York City.

You can check the list of schools that may have available seats for the current school year. Availability may change, so contact the school or CBECC directly to check.

Public School UPK Programs
The public school UPK application period is now closed. Applications for the 2014-2015 school year were accepted from March 3 to April 23, 2014, online or in person at an Enrollment Office
