Environmental Control Board Violations

City Agencies issue Environmental Control Board (ECB) violations for various non-criminal quality of life violations.

You can find out how to respond to your ticket, make a request to reschedule your hearing, or find out if you are eligible for an online hearing. You can also use ECB's Ticket Finder to search for your ticket by number or by your name or address to get information, see and print a copy of the ticket, and pay your ticket.

Some examples of common ECB violations include:

  • Dirty sidewalk
  • Unleashed dog
  • Loitering
  • Noise
  • Public indecency
  • Rollerblading or motorcycling in a forbidden area
  • Sidewalk obstruction
  • Rodent and pest control
