If you have received an electric, gas, or heating disconnect notice, you can apply for emergency financial help. You may also qualify for help if you have a low supply of heating fuel or a broken boiler or furnace.
The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) helps low-income homeowners and renters pay for utility and heating bills. HEAP is a seasonal program. You must re-apply each year to qualify for HEAP.
Applications for the 2017-2018 season are being accepted.
The deadline to submit an application is Friday, April 27, 2018.
