“Made in NY” Projects Premiere in February

February 6, 2015 - February sees the premieres of new TV shows, a musical at movie theatres, and a special anniversary for a long-running variety series.

Airings Thursdays at 10pm, NBC’s new series Allegiance follows a CIA analyst investigating the existence of a Russian sleeper cell that, unbeknownst to him, includes his parents.

The Slap starts with a spur-of-the-moment act of violence at a family party that sets off the revelation of long-held secrets. The series stars Peter Sarsgaard, Uma Thurman, Thandie Newton, Melissa George, and Zachary Quinto and premieres on Thursday, February 12 at 8pm on NBC.

Saturday Night Live celebrates its 40th anniversary with a special three-hour broadcast on Sunday, February 15, beginning at 8pm on NBC. Alumni from across the show’s many seasons will be on hand to reminisce about the show’s history and its impact on popular culture..

Based on the musical by Jason Robert Brown, The Last Five Years tells the story of a young couple from their first date to breakup and from breakup to first date. The film stars Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan and premieres in theatres and on demand on February 13.
