The healthcare provider serves as a care coordinator, working with the primary care physicians, nursing staff, social workers and nutritionists to ensure that we meet your medical, psychological and emotional needs. Child Healthcare Services in the Bronx
Morrisania runs one of the oldest school health programs in New York City and serves four schools through five school-based clinics. These clinics ensure that we meet the healthcare needs of every child, providing access to:

• Mental health services

We have a holistic approach to children’s health, caring for their physical, mental and emotional health. For example, our Child Developmental Clinic is certified by the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment for children from birth to 18 years of age.

New York City Summer Youth Program at Morrisania
We believe that healthcare extends beyond the four walls of our hospital. We are committed to the health, well-being and future of New York’s residents. Each summer, through the New York City Summer Youth Program, we give approximately 30 teens the opportunity to perform office tasks at the Center. This is a great way for young people to learn about a career in the healthcare profession.
