The City of New York wants to ensure that businesses owned by minorities and women are at the forefront of success. The Department of Small Business Services (SBS) offers free workshops to help you compete for business opportunities with the City, State, and Federal government.

The Selling to Government workshop teaches the basics of government contracting. Workshops on more advanced topics, like responding to bids and marketing, are also available.

Businesses also have access to one-on-one assistance and long-term mentorships geared toward specific industries.
