Administration and Operations

Clinical and Lab

Our clinical and lab staff provide data to health care providers and researchers or provide direct clinical services to help support and protect the health of New Yorkers. The agency offers services through our Sexual Health Clinics, Tuberculosis Chest Centers and an Immunization Clinic. Established in 1892, our Public Health Laboratory performs testing on more than 200,000 specimens each year.

Work on budget and revenue for the agency’s finance department.

Work with our food safety and sanitation team to protect the public from various health hazards in places of businesses and public spaces.

Work with our information technology team to create, process, store, secure and exchange electronic data and develop new applications designed to help New Yorkers live healthier lives.

Civil Service Exams
