Contact Us - Business Center Services

Before you visit a business center in person, please consider doing your transaction online. Most Department of Finance payments and services can be conducted online, by mail, or by phone, rather than in person. You can visit our self-service page to learn more.

Payments

Property tax payments can be made online at CityPay.

Payments for parking and camera violations, business taxes, excise taxes, and Environmental Control Board (ECB) judgment violations can be made online at e-Services.

You can also pay your parking and camera violations in person at the Department of Finance business center payment kiosks.

City Register services

The City Register records deeds and mortgages and houses official records of real and personal property transfers. City Register services are available in Manhattan. In the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, service is limited to document submission, pick-up, certified copies, and research.

Booted or towed vehicles

If your vehicle has been booted or towed, you can pay outstanding judgment debt and associated fees in person at a Department of Finance business center. For more information, visit the booting and towing webpage.

Parking or camera violation payment plans

Payment plans are available to owners with unpaid parking or camera violation judgments, including for booted or towed vehicles.

IDNYC replacement services

If your IDNYC card is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, you must go to an IDNYC Department of Finance business center location to apply for a replacement card. There is a $10.00 fee for a replacement card. You must bring all of the documents you used to apply for the card. If you cannot afford to pay the $10.00 fee, you can fill out a hardship waiver, available at the IDNYC Department of Finance location. Additional IDNYC locations and other information are available at www.nyc.gov/idnyc. Read More…
