Some Helpful Hints:

• The best time to call for your interview is Thursday afternoon or Friday afternoon. Currently, this is when wait times are the shortest.
• The call center is busiest on Monday mornings and Tuesday mornings. If you call during these periods you may experience the longest wait times.
• When wait times are long, you may be given the option to leave your phone number and then to receive a call back without losing your place on line.
• If you would like to request an in-person interview call HRA’s Infoline (718-557-1399) to schedule an appointment, or go to your local SNAP center.
