How to Get Help with Rent and Utilities Arrears In an Emergency

You indicated that you have a bill that is past due. If you cannot wait for us to call you for your recertification interview to address these bills, please call DSS Infoline at 718-557-1399.

Let them know you have an emergency and what that emergency is.

If you need help with a utility bill, please try and have your account number available when you call.

We will then call you back in time to address the emergency. You can also come into any of our open centers to have the emergency addressed. Click here for a list of open centers.
