Andra Stanley 

Andra Stanley was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff in December 2022. In this role, she assists in the supervision of all NYCHA operations, including planning and execution of the Authority’s strategic priorities as well as the implementation of the Public Housing Preservation Trust and the Transformation Plan. She also collaborates closely with all NYCHA departments and senior leadership to diagnose and address key organizational challenges on behalf of the CEO and Chief of Staff.

Prior to joining NYCHA, Andra worked in the spheres of transit, homelessness and housing policy. She was previously the Committee Director and Counsel for the Chairperson of the New York Senate’s Committee on Housing, Construction and Community Development.

Andra holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in politics and philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
