Deleting a Single FDNY Application
To delete a single Certificate of Fitness application, click on the Exit & Delete link under the Back button at the bottom of the page.
Deleting One of Several FDNY Applications
You may delete any application except for the one you are on (the last application in the list) by hovering over it and clicking on the delete link.
To delete the last application in the list (the current application) you must do the following:
- Click on the Edit link for one of the previous applications.
- You will be taken to the Review page. Click on one of the edit links on the Review page.
- A pop-up window appears. Clear and retype the information in any one of the fields and click on Save & Close.
- You will be brought back to the Review page. Click the Continue button on the Review page.
You will now be on the Application Payments screen again. The application you have just edited has now become the current application and you can delete the last application in the list.
A Designated Coordinator is an individual with special education or training qualifications who is certified through the Alternate Issuance Policy (AIP) by the FDNY and may apply online on behalf of other qualified individuals in their organization, business, or institution. Individuals who are not Designated Coordinators can only submit their own application.
Options to apply as an Individual or Designated Coordinator vary by Certificate of Fitness. Check the steps to apply online on the Apply tab of the Certificate of Fitness for which you are applying to see the options available.
No. A business profile allows you to save information from the business pages as well as your business name, address, and contacts. You do not have to create a business profile or log in to an account in order to submit a FDNY Certificate of Fitness application online.
