Transitioning to Retiree Health Benefits - Part Two

This video guides employees through the steps involved in transitioning health benefits from employee to retiree status, including important information to know before begining the process, checking eligibility and finalizing your application.  Medicare and Medicare Part B reimbursement is also reviewed.

Included below is information about what is covered in each section of the video (as well as the position in the video where that information is provided).  However, for best results, we recommend the  video be watched in its entirety (4 minutes, 13 seconds).

NOTE:  Please be sure to watch Part One of the Transition to Retirement video before watching Part Two.

Section 1: Medicare (0:00-2:14)
This section describes the difference between Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. Medicare Part B reimbursement is also discussed.

Section 2: Enrollment (2:15-3:28)

Section 3: Wrap Up (3:29-4:13)
Information about what can be found on the HBP website and how to contact the Retiree Health Benefits Program is reviewed.

Still Have Questions?

If you still have questions after watching both Part One and Part Two of the video, you may wish to register to attend the Transition to Retirement Seminar in person at the Health Benefits Office, which includes a Q&A session at the end of the seminar.
