The Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program (MGSP) is an opportunity for full-time New York City government employees, with undergraduate degrees, to pursue advanced degrees at local colleges/universities.

 

How to Apply

Find a participating school and degree program

Fill out an application

Write a letter of intent

Submit to your Agency Personnel Office by due date

Submit confirmation to MGSP

  • Submit confirmation to MGSP that the school has received the application

Confirm submission with your Personnel Office

  • In early January, confirm your application was submitted to DCAS

Contact MGSP if email confirmation not received

  • In late February contact the MGSP office if you have not received email confirmation of your submission
